4 “They will fall down [a]slain in the land of the Chaldeans,
And (A)pierced through in their streets.”

5 For (B)neither Israel nor Judah has been [b]forsaken
By his God, the Lord of hosts,
Although their land is (C)full of guilt
[c]Before the Holy One of Israel.
6 (D)Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you save his life!
Do not be [d](E)destroyed in her [e]punishment,
For this is the (F)Lord’s time of vengeance;
He is going to (G)render recompense to her.
